The rapid spread of mobile technology over the last few years have opened up whole new opportunities for activists and non-profit organisations around the developing world. Mobile technology is now being used to connect farmers with markets, doctors with patients and human rights activists with victims. In his talk, Ken Banks will talk about the work his organisation does with mobile phones to empower organisations looking to raise awareness around critical issues, and to facilitate positive social and environmental change.
